My name is Sheri Brown and my husband is Ed we have 3 beautiful biological boys who are 11, 9 and 3. We are in the process of adopting Long Ping D.O.B. 01/31/01. She is a beautiful little girl who has never known the love of a family. Ping is vision impaired as a result of albinism (albino) she requires medical care that is not available where she currently lives. But once she receives the support that she needs visually she can grow up to be a healthy, happy, productive member of society.
We are not a wealthy family but we have a lot of love to give. My husband is an E-6 in the Army and has been in service for 14 years. We have a biological son who has albinism so we understand how care for her unique needs.
We can afford to raise this child once we get her home but the cost of the adoption is more than we can afford. The total adoption costs will be in excess of $16,000.
We need your help, you can make a difference in the life of this child, we are planning to travel to bring her home by early April 2005.
Thank you for considering helping us bring our little girl home, she needs a chance to grow and develop to her full potential and we need a little girl. Since we understand this condition so well we understand her needs and know that with proper intervention she can become a successful independent adult but without she will have no chance.
